Glassworks at Icefire Glass Loch Lomond

For those looking for something different to do on their day off, why not visit Icefire Glass on the southern shores of Loch Lomond in Balloch. This Glass studio celebrates Scottish culture by designing unique glassware reflecting life on some of the beautiful shores of the country. Their pieces take inspiration from heraldic, Scottish culture, wildlife, and fantasy. If you see some of their designs that you like, they can ship to the UK and abroad. They also provide the opportunity to make customised wedding and celebration gifts.

How can I find Icefire glass?

Icefire glass is located in the town of Balloch on the southern shores of Loch Lomond, along the Stirling Road inside the Loch Lomond home and gardens.

Upon entry to the studio, you can stop by and watch one of the owners creating ornamental glass behind a screen door. Since the facility is based in an outdoor garden area, this makes for fantastic viewing. Most of the items are hanging on displays and perfectly reflected on a bright sunny day. The owners actively encourage patrons to come and get up close and personal with the displays, as their glass used in production is 9 times stronger than traditional porcelain. Their collections are ever-changing, with multiple themes used in their products throughout the years. So what are you waiting for? This unique day out provides visitors with the chance to get close to some of the most beautiful glassware designs in Scotland. Of course, if you don’t get the chance to visit their lovely facility, then there is an opportunity to browse their collection and order online, with commission available
