Where can I find the Castle?

Located in the scenic Surrey town of Guildford, the castle is hard to miss and is just a 15-minute walk away from Guilford station.

Believed to have been built by William the Conqueror, the castle has been used as a royal palace, a prison and a private residence. The grounds at Guildford Castle opened as public gardens in 1888 to mark Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee in 1887 and are now open from 8 am to dusk throughout the year.
