Resin Jewellery Casting Workshop in Gloucestershire

In awe of the stunning resin jewellery trend that is in every fashion magazine right now? Fancy making your own? You have the chance to make your very own hoop earrings and hair clips with Resin8 as part of their Hoops and Hairclips – Contemporary Jewellery Casting Workshop!

In this half-day workshop, you will learn to make 4 hair clips and 2 pairs of hoop earrings with the knowledge to complete your pieces at home! You will spend your time in this workshop mixing resin, swiping colour and encasing flowers to create bespoke, awe-inducing accessories.

Due to the curing time of resin, you must note that finishing touches to your pieces will have to be carried out at home. You’ll leave with an exclusive goodie bag with all of the bits you need to complete your wearable works of art after the workshop.

You will learn how to:

  1. Make gorgeous statement accessories using Resin8 non-toxic resin
  2. Encase beautiful dried flowers and embellishments to create gorgeous pieces of jewellery
  3. Design statement hairclips by working with Resin8 pigments in several cutting edge, mould-painting techniques
  4. Measure, mix and add colour to your resin
  5. Explore using their full range of resin pigments along with their natural, ethically sourced mica powder
  6. Manipulate resin to create different visual effects
  7. Add embellishments to your work such as our eco-glitter and sparkles
  8. Achieve a perfect finish, removing any bubbles that appear
