Visit the beautiful Plémont Bay in Jersey

Visit Jersey’s most beautiful beach; Plémont Bay. It is a hugely popular locals’ beach with a long history. The sandy cove on the north-west of the island has so much to explore, with many rock pools, fascinating sea caves, and even a fresh water waterfall. The Beach is hidden entirely by the sea at each high tide, the fast receding water reveals a beautiful wide sandy beach, sheltered almost entirely from the wind and surrounded by glistening rock pools and mysterious caves!

Why Should I visit Plemont Bay in Jersey?

No trip to Jersey is complete without visiting Plemont Bay. Located on the North West tip of the island it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy spectacular scenery!

The sea at Plemont can be calm and ideal for swimming, and it’s not unusual for passing dolphins to come and frolic close to the shoreline, but in certain weather conditions strong swells can also crash into this corner of the island – making local surfers very happy but swimmers should seek other spot.

At the top of the steps leading to the beach, you’ll find Plemont Bay Cafe; a locally-run beach café overlooking the sand!
