What can I do indoors in North Wales?

Admire stunning contemporary Welsh art and relax at one of Wales' oldest galleries in this lovely part of North Wales, one hour from Bangor.

As well as being home to a fantastic collection of Welsh art, it’s the perfect venue to enjoy theatre performances, concerts lectures among others. Choose from a menu of delicious, locally sourced food, or sit and sip at some tea at their cafe that offers spectacular views of Snowdonia and Cardigan Bay. You can learn how their collection of striking artwork was produced in one of their residential art classes or workshops open to everyone. If you want to support the local economy, then head to one of their craft fairs hosted throughout the year or their shop at the bottom of the hill where you can buy a range of locally-produced arts and crafts as well as tasty snacks.
