Wander through the castles many winding corridors and passages, then head up to the towers for a spectacular view of the town in the shadow of Snowdonia. The castle also hosts the Royal Welsh Fusiliers Museum with a fantastic collection of medieval weaponry. If you’re feeling hungry after your visit, not to worry – the castle sits in the heart of the bustling town with loads of cafes and restaurants to choose from.

  • From Cardiff drivers can take north road, then the A470 all the way until the junction with the A487 which will take you to Caernarfon and follow the signs to the castle. Paid car parking is available on site.
