Bring all of the family to enjoy a day of animal petting and outdoor adventures! Tucked away underneath the glorious Mabie Forest, with breathtaking views over the Solway Firth, Mabie Farm Park is full of farm fun that is enjoyable for visitors of all ages in all different types of weather.

Where can I find Mabie Farm Park in Dumfries and Galloway?

Mabie Farm Park is located just off of the A710 New Abbey/Southerness Coastal Route, just 3 and a half miles south of Dumfries.

Just outside of Dumfries in the South of Scotland, Mabie Farm Park holds the qualities and feel of an original working farm, but has a wide range of indoor and outdoor entertainment for both children and adults of any age! Whether enjoying a hot summer day or braving the rain, there is always fun to be had at Mabie Farm Park!

The Farm Park is set on 77 hectares of beautiful countryside and was originally a dairy farm. The transformation the Park has gone through, from a dairy farm to a farm park, is all thanks to the vision of owners Julia, and Allan Shuttleworth.

Visitors of the Park can expect to enjoy the beautiful green countryside and fresh country air while getting closer to nature in the animal petting area, as well as learning about some of the rare animal breeds at the Farm Park and how they are looked after!

  • Open on weekends and daily from the 30th March from 10 AM to 5 PM
  • Online booking forms can be found on the website
  • Tickets can also be bought at the reception at the park
  • Change of clothing recommended
  • Adult day tickets £9
  • Children aged 2-16 tickets £8.50
  • Family of four tickets £34
  • Animal feed is available from the reception area and farm shop for £1.20
