Mountain Biking at the Glencoe Mountain Resort

Do you want to go mountain biking in one of Scotland’s most spectacular areas? Are you looking for a big mountain experience complete with a chairlift to ferry you to the top? Then head along to Glencoe Mountain Resort and explore one of their many technical downhill trails.

There are seven trails starting from the ‘eagles rest’ on the top of the mountain plateau and dropping down into the valley, made up of a mixture of cross country and full downhill trails that’ll test even the most experienced riders.

You can warm up on the XC tracks on the old military road, getting a few laps in on the cracking red routes running parallel to the blue XC trail on the west highland way, before heading up to the Mountain Resort centre and jumping on the Ski lift. You can also cycle up the steep landrover track if you want to earn your downhill.

If you’d like to hire a bike you can purchase one for the day from the Clash shop on site, prices start at £70 for an adult all day.

A day pass costs £20 for a junior and £30 for an adult and gives you unlimited runs on the chairlift.
