Get your bikes at the ready and prepare to fly through the scenic forests found at Laggan! With over 30 kilometres of world-class mountain bike trails and the brand new Laggan Wolftrax Centre, visitors have all of their needs catered for when visiting this thrill-seekers paradise!

Why should I visit the Mountain Bike trails at Laggan Forest?

Laggan Forest Wolftrax MTB trails have kept their reputation as world-class mountain bike trails with a bite! The trails now have a bike shop and bike hire available nearby to make sure every visitor can experience the thrilling tracks in the forest!

The mountain biking trails at Wolftrax are some of the very best in the country! The tracks are owned by and maintained by the Forestry Commission Scotland and offer regular updates and news from their Wolftrax website page!

All trails here are open all year round with the exception of other activities taking place or poor weather conditions limiting the access to some of the tracks and trails. With trails ranging from the incredibly technical and demanding black trails for expert riders to the orange fun park with obstacles and jumps to navigate, there is something suited for visitors of all abilities and ages at Laggan forest Wolftrax!

Not sure which trail you should take on? Visitors can test out their skills with the skill loops at the trailhead so they can find out what to expect from the bigger trails!

  • The bike shop with bikes available to hire can be found in the forest
  • Cafe and toilets are also available in the forest
  • The centre and c cafe are open daily from Easter to the end of October and Friday to Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm
  • The trails are also open daily
