Where to try mountain walking in the Lake District?

Mountain Journeys has a plethora of mountain walking options for you in the Lake District!

If you want to incorporate more into your day to add on top of your mountain walking, Windermere is the perfect spot for you! Surrounded by picturesque sights and sweet cottage views, there are plenty of picnic spots for you and your family to enjoy. Take the time to sit and admire the beauty surrounding you, get a sketchbook out and let your creativity loose or perhaps enjoy a book in the shade of the tree. Whatever you choose, making stillness a part of your day in the Lake District is magical. One of the most famous Cumbrians, Beatrix Potter – the author of Peter Rabbit, has a museum for you to go to where you can learn all about her and her work! After a rewarding but arduous mountain trek, why not treat yourself to an indoor activity where you can learn and relax at the same time!
