The museum celebrates the culture of Lincolnshire from 1750 to the present day and includes exhibitions that illustrate commercial, domestic, agricultural, industrial and community life. It is housed in Victorian barracks built for the Royal North Lincoln Militia in 1857. The Museum is home to an authentic World War One tank named “Daphne”, we also house the interactive galleries of the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment. The Museum always has a Children’s Museum Trail available to keep younger visitors amused and looking closely at our collection. There are seasonal alternatives at Easter, Christmas and during the Summer Holiday.
