Why should I visit Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve?

Brandon Marsh is best known for the wide variety and quality of its pools, grassland, and woodland. The large pools were created by extracting gravel and since being made have attracted a massive number of birds and other wildlife! With 9 different hides dotted throughout the reserve, guests of all ages are able to get up close and personal to enjoy all of the great resident wildlife species!

Visitors of Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve may enjoy free entry all year round to enjoy everything the reserve has to offer, with the likes of the Mouse Manor, and the Education and Sensory Gardens, guests will not find a lack of things to explore at the reserve! First-time visitors can ask for a map at the reception upon arrival to see everything there is to discover at the reserve.

There is also a great range of events hosted at the reserve. From pond dipping with the kids to art exhibitions, guided walking tours and wildlife courses, new experiences and skills can be seized by visitors on their visits!
