Off-Roading in Liverpool

If you’ve ever wanted to put your driving skills to the test, then we have the perfect activity to add to your stack. Land Rover Experience Liverpool is now offering an exciting opportunity to experience first-hand why Land Rover got its name. Under the expert supervision of one of their instructors, tackle the off-road terrains of Merseyside, including the Rock River Bed and the Giants Causeway in an experience guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping.

Where can I go off-roading in Liverpool?

Head down to Halewood Visitor Centre and rev up your engines, just a 2-mile journey from Hunts Cross Station.

Whether you’re totally new to off-roading, or you’re looking to hone your skills, Land Rover has got your back. With no experience required, their Taster Drive Experience lets newcomers expand their driving expertise as your instructor takes you through a series of various inclines and descents in a perfect introduction to the world of off-roading. If you’re up to the task, the Half-Day Drive Experience takes drivers with a little more experience through steeper inclines, slopes and even streams. For the young’uns among you, Land Rovers expert instructors will guide you through Liverpool’s tough tracks in a great adventure.

  • For the taster and young off-roader sessions, one additional driver is allowed, while the half-day experience allows up to 3 drivers.

Let's Play The Piano Liverpool -- Players and Audience Welcome

Enjoy a wonderful afternoon of music with our brand new grand piano and perform if you like! All welcome to our next event at the wonderful venue of Allerton United Reformed Church. It's a great time to join our group if you're thinking of taking up the piano or getting back to it after years away. For 2022, we are hugely excited to announce that we have a brand new Kawai GL50 Grand Piano. It's an absolute joy to listen to or play should you wish! Let's Play The Piano Liverpool have been meeting monthly since 2015. Our regular sessions are a fantastic opportunity to meet fellow music lovers whether you play the piano or not. You're welcome to attend just to listen if you like - having an audience for our performers is a great bonus! Maybe you're thinking of learning the piano and would like to find out more. The group is friendly and appeals to all ages and backgrounds. It's a lot of fun! We typically get 30-40 attendees at each session. There's always an interesting variety of music each time. Adult players of all levels and musical styles are welcome to perform. There'll also be and hour prior to the 2.30pm start for people to try the piano if they wish. Refreshments included with entry. If you would like to perform, just let us know when you arrive on the day or message the organiser Ben in advance and we'll be sure to fit you in the programme. If you have any enquires don't hesitate to ask. Getting there/parking: There are very regular buses to/from town (No.86 and others) The outbound stop on Mather Avenue is 'Booker Avenue' and returning to town the bus stop is right in front of church on Mather Avenue. By train it's two stops from Lime Street to West Allerton, then a 10min walk as gentle pace. There is medium-sized car park at the church. Parking is unrestricted on all surrounding streets, you can park on the verges on Mather Avenue.
