Where can I go swimming in Cambridge?

Jesus Green Swimming Pool is a great public Lido that is outdoors and opens to the public between May-September!

Lidos are open-air pools that have space to accommodate activities other than just swimming, often being much longer than they are wide. The reasoning behind designing Lidos in such a way is to be mimicking what it was like to swim in a river. The Jesus Green Swimming Pool Lido is open for public use each year between the month’s May and September.

It opens for public swimming between May and September every year. The Lido is not heated so while wetsuits are not compulsory, they are strongly recommended! With water temperatures below 14 degrees, we can certainly say it will be a refreshing dip!

There are some facilities for you to use whilst there, including a sunbathing area, showers and lockers in the changing rooms, a sauna and there is full disabled access with a poolside hoist.
