Gorgeous reefs and protected marine reserves can be found in the Bay of Islands. The Bay of Islands is home to a wide variety of marine life all year round. You can also spot a variety of animals that migrate through the area on a seasonal basis. Reef Diving at Paihia is spectacular at any time of year. You can dive with members of the Paihia Dive team, in any location around the world. You’ll need a Padi Open Water certifcate to continue with this course, but you will learn how to dive in all levels of sea water with their professionals.

A diving license is not required to visit the Bay of Islands’ Reefs and all the aquatic creatures right below you. Paihia Dive provide scuba diving expeditions to the beautiful Rainbow Warrior onboard their fully prepared dive RIB ‘Aka Maru,’ which takes just 8 minutes to reach the dive spot from the coast.
