Phoenix Park in Dublin

The Phoenix Park in Dublin is one of the largest enclosed public parks in the whole of Europe, dating back as early as 1660 it is full of history. The park is open 7 days a week and 24 hours a day for any member of the public, the park can be use for many recreational purposes such as walking, running, cricket, dog walking and much more. You must also be sure to have a walk past the beautiful Glen Pond which surrounds Furry Glen. Whilst in the park you will be able to rent bikes to make it that little more fun and enjoyable, you can also join the Phoenix park bike ride on a 2 or 3 hour cycle through out the magnificent park taking in all the scenery.

If you are looking to book a cycling tour there must be a minimum of 8 people wishing to partake and it must be booked before arrival to ensure the dates and times you wish. Not only can you walk and take in the stunning scenery but you could also stop by the phoenix café for a refreshment and sit and enjoy all that surrounds. Also be sure to stop by and snap a photo of the Phoenix Monument, which has been standing since 1747.
