Where can I go punting in Cambridge?

Let’s Go Punting are a small, independent Punting Company, specialising in Private and Shared Chauffeured River Tours of Cambridge. Punting is ‘the ideal way’ to see the riverside Colleges in both comfort & style. They offer 50 minute return tours covering the length of the college backs between Magdalene College and Silver Street Bridge.
Punting was originally developed in the medieval period to allow for easy navigation in areas with shallow water. Until recently punts were used by commercial fishermen working the fens of East Anglia, and now today punting is a recreational activity enjoyed by many.

Enjoy the River Cam on a chauffeured punt tour of Cambridge and its riverside colleges. Expertly trained chauffeurs will effortlessly glide you along the Cam, whilst providing an entertaining tour with stories, anecdotes and historical facts about Cambridge University and in particular the Colleges you pass during the tour. This is the perfect activity for people of all ages and for any occasion, so whatever your punting requirements, get in touch with Lets Go Punting and get your fun-filled day on the river organised!

Right in the centre of Cambridge you can be sure there is always plenty available to do, as well as a range of accommodations available including Airbnb’s so why not make a weekend of it!
