The Quartz museum is an art lovers dream… Unique to Aoteroa New Zealand, Quartz, Museum of Studio Ceramics is the only dedicated museum for studio ceramics in the country and is the largest and most diverse public ceramic display. Major displays of works by Anneke Borren, Len Castle, Elizabeth Lissaman, John Parker, Rick Rudd and temporary exhibitions are on show.

Established by renowned potter Rick Rudd, the Museum displays his collection of over 700 works by New Zealand and international potters. Ceramic works are also borrowed from private collections for special exhibitions at the museum and each year an installation is commissioned.
