Rathlin Island is just 6 miles from Ballycastle across the Sea of Moyle on the Causeway Coast and Glens scenic route. Measuring only 6 miles long and 1 mile wide, Rathlin Island has County Antrim to the South, the Inishowen Peninsula to the West, Islay to the North, and the Mull of Kintyre to the East. The Island at one point in time had a population of over 1000 but now has a current population of around 150 residents. Most visitors come for a day trip but many choose to stay for a night or two and some have even fell in love with the island life and never left!

Once on Rathlin Island, there are a number of things for guests to do! For nature lovers, the island provides plenty of bird species to spot including Atlantic Puffins, Razorbills, Guillemots, Kittiwakes and loads more! There are also guided walks, bus tours, cycle hire for visitors and even an upsidedown lighthouse to check out!
