Where can I enjoy a day outdoors in London?

The Royal Botanic Gardens dates back to the early 18th century, from a royal palace to now being today's globally renowned scientific institution for plant and fungal research. Princess Augusta, the mother of King George III, originally founded the nine-acre botanic garden within the pleasure grounds at Kew in 1759.

There is a lot to offer for adults and children alike with a great mix of informative greenhouses with fantastic plants, peaceful reflective walks, and the museum palace, with fascinating exhibitions. There are different ecosystems such as sand beaches, rocks, and tropical ecosystems. There are also a couple of lovely cafes and food vans with tasty seasonal food and drink and choices for takeaway, indoor and outdoor seating available.
