RYA Sailing Classes at Cardiff Docks

Were you a born sailor? Then head to Cardiff Sailing Centre and take part in one of their RYA Sailing Courses. They have a range of 10 different types of boats that you can sail and a wide range of sailing courses for adults and children. The 2-day course costs £200 per person.  With a discount for under 16-year-olds.  Within this time you could achieve one of the RYA sailing course levels.

Where can you go on a RYA sailing course in Cardiff?

Cardiff Sailing Centre offer a range of RYA sailing courses from the very basics to getting ready to race.

You do have to be at least 8 years old to take part and those under 18 do need to have consent from their parents in order to sail. This is a great activity and something you should add to your Funstacker list. They also provide; Windsurfing, RYA Powerboat, RYA Shorebased, Rowing, Archery and Fishing.

  • All equipment is provided
  • Minimum age requirement of 8 years old
  • All children under 18 years old must have signed consent from a parent or guardian
  • Range of RYA approved courses available for adults
