Scuba Diving in Oban

Are you ready to take the plunge and finally go Scuba diving? Come to Port Gallanach – just south of Oban – and try either the shore dives or wreck dives. With Puffin Dive Centre, you can do the dive taster sessions or potentially learn the PADI course (recreational) and get a certificate. All the equipment is provided, and you don’t need any previous scuba diving experience. What a perfect opportunity! So, if you want to experience a whole new world and impress other people with your adventures, then it’s time to come to Oban and take a dive!

Where can I go scuba diving in Oban?

With Puffin Dive Centre, no matter your skill and experience level, all are welcome to come and dive in the beautiful Scottish waters!

The Dive centre also has a variety of family-friendly activities for you to try out, such as stand up paddleboarding and boat diving. You can make it a full day out of water activities and get to know Firth of Lorn. Or, should you be more intrigued by the land, Oban is a seafood cuisine centre, as well as a town full of charm! Whether your trip is one day or a couple of days, after your dive, you can explore the land as you previously explored the sea.

  • Beginners Taster Session – ‘Try-a-dive’: £89 per person for a 1.5-2 hour dive (daily availability)
  • Several courses available depending on your experience level
  • All equipment you could need is available for hire (some courses include full equipment hire in the price)
