Where can I see wildlife in Leicestershire?

Head down to Tropical Birdland in the Leicestershire's quaint countryside to experience hundreds of feathery friends.

The birds are extremely friendly, and have been known to frequently land on visitors shoulders (particularly on those who have food!). The centre houses the birds in a 65 acre woodland space, so all birds feel at home and have enough space to spread their wings and take flight like they would anywhere else. If you’re feeling peckish, there’s also a restaurant to grab a bite to eat and relax with a coffee.

  • Doors close at 4pm.
  • The centre may close in bad weather conditions, so make sure the weather is okay for the day you visit.
