The arrival of Vikings in 9th century England meant that York has been a thriving hub of trade throughout English history, sitting between the River Ouse and River Foss. You can skipper through York’s historic riverside just as the Vikings did years ago – City Cruises’ motorboats are easy to drive, safe and most importantly a lot of fun! Instructors will provide all the safety instructions needed as well as providing life jackets for any children brought along.
- You can drive the boat for up to 1 hour.
- Pre-booking is encouraged, but there may still be room for walk-ins.
- Morning hires (10.00 – 11.45) will cost £30 to £45 per hour.
- Afternoon hires (12.00 onwards) will cost £35 to £50 per hour.
