Air Rifle Range in Sunderland

Ready… Aim… Fire! Try your hand at air rifle shooting at Washington Air Rifle Range in Sunderland. A comfy, warm and friendly shoot space to make people feel welcome to the sport, and create a community in which anyone can join in and enjoy target shooting. Choose from a small range of weapons including the standard air rifle, Beretta 92-fs, BSA R10, Walther CP99 or the Walther CP88 competition. It’s a fun and safe environment to learn and practice the sport of air rifle target shooting

Try out the Short Lanes. At 10 Metres long, they are perfect for everyone from learning to shoot or just having a go, all the way up to competition shooters. A great way to get into the sport is starting here, where it’s safe and secure. There are always Range Officers on hand if you have any questions or need guidance.

If you think the short-range is too easy and you’re looking for a challenge, why not book on the Long Range. At 20 yards, it is almost double the length of the short-range. Perfect for scoping in if you’re going to be shooting even further distances or just to test how good you really are!

Or you can even try out the Pistol Range. With a motorized target retrieval system, this truly is a fun place to be! Destroy the targets as much as you can with replica guns that fire as fast as you can pull the trigger! You’re more than welcome to use your own BB guns on this range too!

If you ever need a break or you’re just watching, there is a lovely Break Room where you can have tea or coffee, or maybe buy a little snack from the shop. Equipped with comfy seats, tables and even windows so you can see how well people are doing on the short range. This is a great chill spot to just sit and watch for a bit.
