Designed by Walter Campbell for his mother. This fascinating structure was designed to incorporate multiple different styles of architecture, to provide a view that every visitor can appreciate!

How can I find St Conan's Kirk?

The Kirk is located in the village of Lochawe, between Oban and Dalmally. Located 20 minutes from Oban, which is heavily serviced by buses and trains to and from Glasgow.

Some of the main viewpoints in the Kirk include The Cloisters, The Ambulatory and the Bruce Chapel which has a fragment of the famous Robert The Bruce’s bone! Entry to the facility is currently free, however, they do rely on donations, so donating is highly appreciated. Any donations to the Kirk go towards future repairs, so you can be safe in the knowledge that your donation goes to the upkeep of the facility. The Kirk opens from 9 am to 5 pm, from Monday to Saturday. So what are you waiting for?
