Are you a lover of History, or do you just love churches and the beautiful Scottish landscape? If so, then make sure you come and visit St Conan’s Kirk in Argyle. Designed by Walter Campbell for his mother. This fascinating structure was designed to incorporate multiple different styles of architecture, to provide a view that every visitor can appreciate!
Some of the main viewpoints in the Kirk include The Cloisters, The Ambulatory and the Bruce Chapel which has a fragment of the famous Robert The Bruce’s bone! Entry to the facility is currently free, however, they do rely on donations, so donating is highly appreciated. Any donations to the Kirk go towards future repairs, so you can be safe in the knowledge that your donation goes to the upkeep of the facility. The Kirk opens from 9 am to 5 pm, from Monday to Saturday. So what are you waiting for?
