St Davids Cathedral is located in St Davids in the county of Pembrokeshire. This ancient piece of Welsh history has been around since the 6th century! For the past 1500 years, people have been visiting this site to marvel at its gothic grandeur. It’s a stunning example of Welsh architecture – not to be missed if you’re visiting the area for the first time!

During your visit, pop by the Cathedral Bookshop at the west end of the nave for a huge selection of books and gifts to take home with you! The other shop on-site is located adjacent to the cathedral, across the river, and is called The Domus Giftshop – this stocks some fascinating Welsh and Celtic crafts and books. There’s also a cafe if you get peckish!

Where can I find St Davids Cathedral?

It can be found in the heart of the town of St Davids, on the northern coastline closer to Caerfai Beach.
