At the St. Ives pottery workshop, they’ll teach you how to throw clay, mould it, and make something unique with your own hands! St Ives is famous within the pottery community for its connections to Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada and its influence over ceramics worldwide! With lesson formats flexible to your ability and level of experience with pottery they’ll cater you your needs so you can get the most out of your session. Get ready to flex your creative muscles with this hands-on experience!

Their teaching session is run by Angela, an experienced and passionate crafter and ceramicist who has been teaching since she was 18. St. Ives Bay is a centre for creativity with tons of local artists and galleries to explore! Their new teaching studio in Hayle on St Ives Bay is tucked away in Foundry farm where the horses that once powered the industry were once housed, and in the past year they’ve made many improvements to make it as accessible as possible. While they’re currently only offering teaching experiences in Hayle, they hope to be able to open up their St. Ives studio soon when restrictions lift.
