With plenty to do and set within beautiful surroundings, the park is one of the most visited family attractions within the central belt of Scotland, with thousands of both new, and returning guests visiting each year to enjoy the wide variety of activities and events on offer at the park.

Where is Strathclyde Country Park?

Strathclyde Country Park is located in North Lanarkshire. The park lies within 400 hectares of countryside in the valley of the River Clyde. As well as its breathtaking scenery, the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games host also has a number of different activities and experiences, meaning there really is something for everyone at the park!

The park has loads of different attractions to offer, hosting a variety of events throughout the year, such as music festivals, watersports, walking trails, and much more!

The Country Park is globally renowned for its Watersports area, due to the excellent facilities that both the Watersports Centre and Strathclyde Loch provide. The park is a licensed outdoor activity centre and caters to water activities for visitors all year round!

The park is open from April to September from 9 AM – 8 pm Monday to Sunday, October to March from 9 AM – 4.45 PM Saturday to Thursday, and 9 AM – 4.15 PM Friday.

  • Group booking available (wristbands include access to 5 set activities)
  • Pets Allowed
  • The special offer applies only to group bookings of 10+ children
  • Age restrictions applied to some activities
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult on speedboat trips
  • Changing rooms provided
