Calling all adventure lovers! Are you looking for something unforgettable to do on your next day off? If so, make sure to visit the fantastic Cathedral Cove in the Coromandel Peninsula! Along with one of the most beautiful beaches in New Zealand, there is a one-hour walking tour, which takes visitors towards two magnificent coves. Since it gives an overarching structure and a general peaceful aura, it has gained its fitting title.

Where can I find Cathedral Cove?

The site is located in the village of Hahei, near the town of Whitianga. There are regular public transport and ferry routes from Auckland to the area.

Along with the main walkway, visitors can partake in a slightly shorter route. This starts from the car park at Grange Road and leads all the way up. During the summer months, visitors can avail themselves of the regular shuttle bus routes which bring visitors from the car park, all the way up to the track. Along with this, there is a multitude of Kayaking tours, which give some of the most magnificent views. So, what are you waiting for? Make the most of your next day off, and visit the famous Cathedral Cove!
