Where can I find Franz Josef Glacier?

The site is located near the village of Franz Josef, the village can be accessed by bus from Greymouth, which has excellent public transport routes.

The site can be best viewed from its viewing area, and the walk towards it is a tourist attraction in itself. With stunning views of Waterfalls, Mountain tops, Rivers, and of course the Glacier itself. Visitors should be aware that this track is often weather permitting and, all signage should be adhered to. This area is considered one of the most magnificent natural sites in New Zealand, with views that are unrivalled anywhere else. So, what are you waiting for?
