Are you looking to unwind in the pool or maybe even take on some fitness classes for some health and well-being? Why not pay a visit to Bangor Aurora Aquatics and Leisure Centre? With loads of different activities and sports to choose from, there is plenty to keep all visitors entertained when visiting with family or friends!

Why should I visit Bangor Aurora Leisure Centre?

At Bangor Aurora Aquatics & Leisure Complex there is a fantastic range of facilities that are suitable for all ages and abilities, including a gym, versatile 8-court sports hall, outdoor sports pitches including a full-sized 3g pitch, and a workout area where a number of fitness classes are held!

The centre pride itself on delivering high-quality swimming lessons in a relaxed and fun atmosphere! With fully trained instructors to help every step of the way, whether looking to learn the basics of this important life skill or to just become more confident in the water, visitors are in good hands! The last day of the swim lesson programme will be Monday the 2oth of December. Lessons will continue again on the 4th of January 2022.

For the little ones, there are children’s swimming lessons in place to help your child learn a valuable life skill! Watch their confidence skyrocket as they develop a love for the water, under the guidance of the centre’s fully qualified swim instructors, with badges and certificates awarded on completion of each stage!

As well as swimming lessons there are also diving lessons available at the centre! For those looking for a new challenge when it comes to swimming, they can join in on the diving lessons that are held at the centre and improve techniques using springboards under the guidance of the centre’s dedicated instructors while developing fitness, strength and coordination!

  • Monday to Friday open from 6 am to 10 pm
  • Saturday is open from 7 am to 8 pm
  • Sunday open from 8 am to 8 pm
  • The cafe is open Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm
  • Cafe open 10 am to 3 pm on Weekends
