Where can I find Beacon Climbing Centre?

It's located in the town of Caernarfon in North Wales, about 8 miles from Bangor by car.

The Beacon Climbing Centre is the largest indoor climbing centre in North Wales. There are hundreds of different climbing routes available, for all different climbing skill levels (beginners to expert), so there’s fun to be had for everyone! All of the climbing sections are graded and colour coded so it’s very easy to select a route that’s right for you. It’s a great way to move your body and exercise in a fun and engaging way. There are a few courses to choose from, ranging from a Bouldering Instruction session and the Learn to Climb Course (over 8 hours of learning!), perfect for people looking to really learn all the fundamentals.

Feel free to visit the Caffi Barcud during your visit for a delicious homemade traybake and a hot drink. Gluten-free and vegan options are available.

  • Climbing Experience (1 hour, minimum age 5): £20
  • Bouldering Induction (1 hour, minimum age 18): £20
  • Learn to Climb Course (minimum age 18): £80
