The Hill of Tara in County Meath

The site is located in County Meath, in the Ancient East of Ireland. This area is full of history, with an impressive amount of sites in the region. Including, The River Boyne, Newgrange and The Hill of Uisneach in Westmeath. The history of the area, all stems from the River Boyne, which is a principal river in the province of Leinster. Mainly, it has played host to hundreds of settlements along its banks for thousands of years!
