The Ipswich Transport Museum

This brilliant accredited museum is a great place to visit and spend a few hours if your in Ipswich or the surrounding areas! They boast a a truly impressive collection of classic, vintage, and retro cars, machinery, transport vehicles! The museum is quite cosy so make sure you don’t miss anything as there is so much in such a small space!

This museum is also a great place for all ages as the kids will be allowed to climb and board some of the exhibits and get to see and be behind the wheel of some British history! The staff are all volunteers and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the exhibits and help if you have any problems! This museum is very reasonably priced at £5.50 pp so if you fin yourself in the area don’t look further than this museum for a good place to spend and afternoon.

• They are open every Sunday and Bank holiday 11am-4pm between Easter and November, and Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday afternoons 1pm-4pm during school holidays.
