The museum is housed in a building on Sauchiehall Street since 1960, although, the building was originally part of some townhouse connected Garnet Street and Charing Cross. The museum has also been refurbished to an immaculate standard, and, was reopened following this in 1999.
Where can I find the Regimental Museum of Royal Highland Fusiliers?
The collections within the museum are of international importance and are of fantastic quality. Some of these include Edged weapons, Colours and flags, Decorations and Medals, trophies and musical instruments. Along with this, the museum has a library and photographic collection, which showcases the history of the regiment. The museum is open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and Fridays from 9am to 3pm.
