This famous old driving route takes visitors on a scenic route around the country in many uninhabited areas and islands.

Why should I visit the Ring Road in Iceland?

This route can be one of the best ways for visitors to experience all of the sites and tourists destinations across Iceland.

The route also brings visitors around some of the islands most visited attractions, including, the Seljalandsfoss and  Skógafoss waterfalls. The entire route is 825 miles, which is the same equivalent of driving almost the entire length of the UK, from John O’Groates to Southe West England. Although the route can be theoretically driven in under 24 hours, it is highly recommended to be travelled in around 7 days, for the best experience.
