Fancy a relaxing experience in the heart of Edinburgh’s city centre?

Where can I find the Scottish Gallery?

It’s located right in the heart of Edinburgh city centre, in the New Town.

The Scottish Gallery first opened its doors in 1842, and has been providing a place to see stunning local art for 175 years! Impressively they’re the oldest and largest private Gallery in Scotland. They aim to exhibit the best in Scottish painting, from the 20th century and contemporary, to international applied art that’s been featured in art museums across the world. Come at the right time and you might catch an artist talk, a book tour, or an exhibition tour!  It’s the perfect place to enjoy some beautiful artwork in a gentle, therapeutic environment.
