Tollcross Park is located in the city's east end and is serviced by regular bus and rail links. The nearest train stations are Carntyne and Shettleston.

The land where the park is situated was purchased for £29,000 in 1897, this included 83 acres and the mansion house. At the children’s farm, those who live there include; Shetland ponies, Shire horses, Rabbits and Highland cattle. It doesn’t end there! At the visitor centre, there is an environmental centre that aims to inform and educate visitors on nature. This centre is completely interactive, so, it will keep both young and old entertained!
