Trossachs Distillery in Loch Lomond

Are you a gin lover? Or do you love local gin and/or Distilleries? Well then come on down to the Trossachs Distillery in Collander, this is home to the fantastic McQueen Gin. The gin was created by Dale and Vicky McQueen back in 2015, and since then it has become a staple gin across the country, winning multiple awards since then. This gin is unique, as it has produced some of the world’s first botanical gins, including Sweet Citrus and Smokey Chilli!

How can I get to McQueen Distillery?

From Glasgow, you can take the train to Stirling from Glasgow Central. Then hop on the 59 bus towards Callander, at the Heather Centre stop, the distillery is a short walk away.

You can visit the distillery and experience all the unique and interesting styles of Gin that the distillery produces, and even find out about the gins that they plan on making in the future. Some of these gins, including their signature premium dry, won double gold at the San Fransisco World spirit competition in 2017. On your visit to the distillery and shop, you can meet the team involved in creating these gins, and of course, learn about the company’s story and development over the past few years. So come on down and visit this fascinating distillery while also taking all of the sights that Loch Lomond has to offer!
