Are you ready to travel back in time? The Ulster American Folk Park is truly a one-of-a-kind attraction! It gives you the opportunity to experience a period-accurate recreation of the lives that the American settlers lead in the 18th and 19th centuries. Explore all the immersive authentic shops and buildings, such as a full-scale emigrant ship where hundreds of people would live and work during the perilous twelve-week Atlantic crossing, and an aromatic herb garden full of medicinal plants which the community would rely on for medical support.

Where can I find the Ulster American Folk Park?

It's very close to the hamlet of Knockmoyle, about 8 kilometres northwest of Omagh in County Tyrone.

Take part in demonstrations of the kind of work these settlers would fill their days with, like forge work, wool spinning, turf cutting, willow weaving, woodcraft and patchwork quilting! There’s plenty to do and see at this uniquely interactive museum!
