Although Iceland is known for their natural hot pools, these ones are special. Guðlaug Baths are a naturally occuring pool set by a former fishing village, now used recreationally by visitors in Guðlaugur by Langasand. On Langasandur you can bathe in the sea and enjoy the view in Guðlaugur which is a hot pool located in the rock garden on Langasandur. The facilities are absolutely fantastic. With Guðlaug on 3 floors! The top floor being a spectator booth viewing platform. The 2nd floor a hot sitting pool, showers and equipment space. The 1st floor is a shallow wading pool. With entry to the bank and the beach. Changing rooms are on site and outdoor showers.
Where do I go to find the natural hot baths?
Fortunately this natural wonder happens to be nearby Reykjavik. So just set your sat nav for the destination on the map and you should arrive in a jiffy from Reykjavik.
