Take a stroll in the stunning gardens, lake walks & woodlands or enjoy our woodland play area. Watch the peacocks strut by displaying their finery at the castle lakeside with its Gothic towers, waterfall and statues. They recommend you allow a minimum of 3 hours for your visit to fully enjoy the site.

What are the opening hours?

You’re in luck! The castle is open every single day! It is open seven days a week. The opening hours are from 9:00 to 16:30.

The purpose-built Visitor Centre is open all year round and includes a café with indoor and outdoor seating, providing a welcoming environment to relax and revive. They serve a variety of sandwiches, salads, wraps, delicious tray bakes and drinks. Gluten-free options are available. Please note that the last servings in the Café are 30 minutes before closing.
