Kensington Palace is a royal residence set in Kensington Gardens and as well as being a popular visitor destination, Kensington Palace is the official residence of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children.

Kensington Palace is famed for being home to the royal family for over 300 hundred years and actually opened all the way back in 1604.

By visiting Kensington Palace you will have the opportunity to delve into history and explore the birthplace of Queen Victoria. You will get a true insight into the past as you view Victoria’s re-imagined childhood rooms. Wander through the lavish rooms of the King’s State Apartments, each one grander than the last. And as you explore the beautiful private rooms of the Queen’s State Apartments at Kensington Palace where Mary II once took her meals, relaxed and entertained, you will be in awe at the sheer beauty surrounding you.

The iconic wedding dress designed for Diana, Princess of Wales, resides here at Kensington Palace and you can view it as part of your trip. There are also different exhibitions that are nonpermanent so if a current exhibition catches your eye be sure to check online on their website how long it will be open and get your tickets quickly so as not to miss out.
