Visit Matthew’s Vintage Collection in Northland

Experience a unique opportunity to view a privately owned collection of vintage cars and machinery used in farming dating back to the early 1900’s. Accumulated and restored by an avid vintage enthusiast for more than 50 years covering over 1100 square metres of display area. Matthews Collection is set in tranquil rural surroundings and many friendly farm animals.

What is there to see at the museum?

A few examples of what there is to see at the Matthew’s Vintage Collection include vintage tractors, over 40 stationary engines, gum digging tools, pioneering equipment and tools, farm implements, household memorabilia, antique radios, woodworking and workshop tools and old gardening equipment. There is also coffee, tea, cold drinks and ice cream available!

The Vintage Collection is located indoors and has all amenities. They also have a wide range of stationary engines including Tangyes, Wolseleys, Andersons, Listers, Bamford etc, also a large selection of vintage cars including Nashs, Chevrolets and a Singer Roadster amongst others. View a range of traditional farming, household and pioneering appliances, some of which have been used by the Matthews Family over the past century.
