Visit Tara’s Palace Museum of Childhood in Co Wicklow

This fantastic little museum is home to Ireland’s largest dollhouse, which is the main exhibit and is titled Tara’s Palace.

Apart from its famous centrepiece, the museum boasts a huge selection of other artefacts and objects of interest. These include the likes of the 17th-century house in a bottle, a 300-year-old doll’s house and the smallest doll in the world. The museum’s story dates back to the early 1900s when craftsmen were commissioned to build a miniature doll’s palace.
