St Brigids is located in the countryside of Ballybuggy and is no mostly resembling a graveyard. However, local folklore has said that there was once a monastery and nunnery on the site, where Brigid is likely to have stayed. A report from the 1840s, suggests that this is true, with ruins of the site said to have been there then. However, nowadays, there isn’t much left, but visitors can try and visualise where it was.
