This museum Canongate is one of the city’s most fascinating and unique museums, inside a lovely brightly yellow-painted building, the Huntly House, on the historical Royal Mile. In this museum, you’ll get to learn about the iconic, gruesome, and even prehistoric history of Edinburgh. They’re spread over a few floors and buildings, which sometimes also host special exhibitions  The building was even featured in season 3 of the long-running TV series Outlander!
