Wakeboarding in the Lake District

Now is the time for you to knock off wakeboarding from your bucket list Funstackers! Come on over to Ullswater Wake and Surf at Lake Ullswater, where you can enjoy various water sports such as wakeboarding and wake surfing. Whether you are an absolute beginner or very experienced, they cater the lessons for you with sessions welcoming up to 6 people per session. For 30 minutes it costs £60 per person and increases to £220 (2 hours) depending on how long you wish to go for. There are other activities as well here; paddleboarding, luxury boat charter and dolphin riding. Now get yourself down to this lake and ride high while riding these waves!

Where can I go wakeboarding in the Lake District?

Head to the north end of Lake Ullswater and Pooley Bridge, not far from Penrith, where 'Ullswater Wake and Surf' offers fun-packed sessions on England's third deepest lake.

Not only that, there are a variety of animal attractions nearby, such as the Lake District Wildlife Park and the Lake District Coast Aquarium. All animal lovers and those interested in learning and exploring, why not, whilst getting your breath back from the adrenaline rush, look around at all the riveting wildlife this area has! Hikers, general walkers, and outdoor enthusiasts, the spaces around Lake Ullswater are perfect for a stroll to immerse yourself in the gorgeous views around you, such as the Grizedale forest and the Lodore waterfalls!
