Enjoy a relaxing stroll among nature at the Wolsely Centre, full of wildlife and plenty of different greenery to spot along the way. The centre is only a 20 minute drive from Stafford city centre.

The Wolsely Centre is a hidden oasis in central England, full of a variety of different gardens and landscapes with tonnes of wildlife to spot. Stroll along the boardwalk to enjoy views of the River Trent, where you’ll spot many natural sculptures hidden among the leafy undergrowth. Enjoy the tranquillity of the reserve with a picnic beside one of their beautiful three lakes, or explore the sensory garden with a variety of plants that will stimulate all 5 of your senses. Keen bird watchers will be in their element, with plenty of charming bird species to spot including the resident kingfisher, nuthatch and goosander. You’re bound to spot something new on each visit! Take the kids to the play trail, with the splash bridge and plenty of trees and logs to climb. Mum and dad can stop for a coffee and snack at the Kingfisher cafe, or take a look around their gift shop for a nature-inspired souvenir and home-gardening tools.
